An excellent opportunity awaits an ambitious Associate to join a well-known UK firm in its top-tier Contentious Construction practice in London

The team advises on a broad range of contentious construction matters, supporting clients both during the course of live projects and where formal disputes arise.

The practice regularly advises on issues including delay, additional costs, defects, contractual performance and other risks that can affect the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects. The team also works with clients at an early stage to assess potential disputes, manage risk and seek commercial solutions before matters escalated.

Where formal proceedings become necessary, the team acts across a broad range of dispute resolution processes, including adjudication, litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex construction disputes as well as project advisory matters, gaining exposure to a broad range of contentious work and different forms of dispute resolution.

Experience required:

• Qualified in England & Wales
• Have 2–4 years’ PQE gained in a leading construction disputes practice.
• Ability to provide clear, practical advice.
• Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
