Story Contracting is seeking a Commercial Administrator to join our Commercial team in the South & Central region. You will help keep projects organized, accurate and moving forward, supporting day-to-day commercial activity and ensuring figures add up.

The role suits someone who enjoys variety in a busy environment and wants a long-term career in construction commercial functions, with opportunities to learn contracts, measurements and COINS experience.

Qualifications

• Interested in construction and civils; understands how commercial teams support projects.
• Comfortable using Excel; COINS experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Eager to learn and build a long-term career within the commercial function.
• Understanding of construction contracts and measurement would be helpful, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Producing timely reports to support the commercial team during month-end reporting.
• Assisting with variation pricing and change control processes.
• Working with other functions to provide information for periodic KPI reporting.
• Supporting project teams to ensure timely payments to the supply chain by processing Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and payment certificates.
• Supporting cash flow reporting and cost-to-complete forecasting.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date commercial records.
