Job summary

Ambition is seeking a BD & Business Manager to support growth and the market profile of its international Construction practice. The role combines business development, marketing and business management, working closely with senior partners and global teams.

The successful candidate will lead client relationship development, cross-selling, and integrated campaigns, with oversight of market communications and performance insights to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

Experience in business development, marketing or business management within professional services.
Experience with Construction, infrastructure, engineering or related sectors.
Track record of delivering strategic growth initiatives and complex projects.
Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, communication and organisational skills.
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM and AI-enabled business tools.

Responsibilities

Support the development and delivery of strategic and business development plans.
Partner with senior stakeholders to develop client relationships and growth opportunities.
Lead integrated marketing campaigns, events, sponsorships, webinars and client engagement programmes.
Oversee directory submissions, awards, credentials, sector content and market-facing communications.
Monitor financial, pipeline, client and operational performance.
Coordinate strategic projects delivering against objectives and deadlines.
Support budgeting, planning and business cases including lateral partner opportunities.
Co-line manage and develop a dedicated M&B Executive and drive CRM/AI tool adoption.
