Job summary

GCS Associates is seeking a Business Development Manager/Area Sales Manager to cover the South West England region. The role targets builders merchants, contractors and house builders, with direct merchant relationships and end-user engagement.

The successful candidate will have construction supplies sales experience, a strong sales drive, and the ability to build lasting relationships. Monday to Friday, with a package including bonus and car.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales within the construction supplies/building materials sector.
• Proven ability to win new business and manage key accounts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Account management responsibilities within construction supplies sector.
• Develop and pursue new business opportunities.
• Cover the South West England territory.
• Monday - Friday workweek.
• Sell to Builders Merchants, contractors, developers and house builders.
• Maintain a strong sales drive and focus on customer needs.
