Job summary

Marc Daniels, a growing family-run construction business, is seeking an Assistant Bookkeeper to join their established team in West London. You will process ledgers, reconcile accounts, and support the Office Manager to keep the office running smoothly.

The role requires AAT Level 3 or higher, strong IT skills, and reliable communication with employees and subcontractors. A full-time position with opportunities to develop within a busy construction environment.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 3 or higher qualification required.
• IT literate with confident communication to staff, clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase ledger invoices.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain cash flow analyses.
• Submit VAT and CIS-related documents to HMRC.
• Prepare labour timesheets for management sign-off.
• Liaise with site personnel, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing year-end accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare trial balances and schedules.
• Support project costing activities.
• Register and verify new suppliers and subcontractors.
• General administration and office support.
