Job summary

Marc Daniels in West London is seeking a full-time Assistant Book Keeper with construction industry experience. You will process ledgers, reconcile bank and cards, and maintain VAT/CIS submissions to HMRC, working solo and in a team.

You will liaise with site personnel, clients and suppliers, assist with year-end accounts, project costing, and ensure accurate cash flow analysis and filing. AAT Level 3+ and IT literacy required; Sage 50 experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 3 or higher qualification and IT literacy.
• Strong communication skills with internal, external, written and oral.
• Experience in processing ledgers with VAT/CIS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Processing Sales and Purchase ledger invoices.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintaining cash flow analysis and project costing.
• VAT and CIS knowledge for HMRC submissions.
• Preparing year-end accounts and assisting with administration.
• Liaising with site personnel, clients and subcontractors.
