Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Account Manager for the Construction / Maintenance sector in Reigate, Surrey. You will be the main point of contact for key residential and commercial accounts, coordinating projects from initial enquiry through to completion and identifying opportunities to grow existing relationships.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in account management, project coordination or a similar client-facing role within the industry.
• Strong relationship management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Background in construction, facilities management, property maintenance or refurbishment.
• Understanding of building maintenance and refurbishment processes.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
• Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and CRM or job management systems.
• Professional, proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Coordinate maintenance, refurbishment and renovation projects.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and client communications.
• Monitor project budgets, timescales and delivery progress.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors and tradespeople.
• Conduct client visits and site inspections where required.
• Resolve issues, manage expectations and identify account growth opportunities.
