Job summary

The Cairngorms Connect partnership is seeking a Project Development and Delivery Manager based in Aviemore to lead landscape restoration initiatives within the CC area. You will work with CC partner staff to identify opportunities, co-ordinate delivery, and contribute to fundraising for project workstreams.

Reporting to the CC Senior Programme Manager, you will oversee CC Tree Nursery and venison projects, manage multiple projects, and build strong relationships with partners, funders and

Qualifications

• Experience managing projects from development through delivery, with milestones, budgets, and outcomes.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication tailored to funders and colleagues.
• Experience managing contractors, procurement, budgets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Experience preparing funding applications from multiple sources.
• Ability to apply strategic thinking to programme objectives.
• Experience leading projects or teams without direct line management.
• Experience identifying and managing risks across workstreams.
• Experience working across complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for new landscape restoration projects.
• Facilitate development of projects with input from partnership staff.
• Assist in fundraising for project workstreams.
• Coordinate and monitor delivery of ongoing and new projects.
• Contribute to reporting on projects when required.
• Oversee management of CC venison project and CC tree nursery.
