Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is hiring a Consents & Liaison Officer to support client objectives by coordinating access, notices and consents on land. You will liaise with landowners, contractors and project teams, ensuring professional representation and compliant processes on site.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and a proactive, organised approach, with a full UK driving licence and a solid understanding of agriculture and rural affairs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs.

Responsibilities

• Manage liaison activities with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers, occupiers and other stakeholders in support of client objectives.
• Arrange access to private land.
• Serve notices and obtain agreements/consents, evidencing land conditions before entry.
• Advise and agree reinstatement of land and deal with agricultural loss claims.
• Ensure team engages with landowners and occupiers on site and present a professional image.
• Work closely with project teams, often from project/client site.
• Maintain records, provide client updates, and ensure accurate billing.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements.
• Provide constructive line management and performance feedback to direct reports.
• Continue knowledge and skills development through company training.
