Job summary

Seetec Group Ltd. is seeking an Employment Specialist for the Connect to Work team in London.

You will support individuals with disabilities or health conditions into sustainable paid employment using person-centred advice, building relationships with referral partners and local employers. You will understand local labour markets, manage a caseload, and collaborate with agencies to provide holistic, tailored employment support and in-work assistance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local labour market areas.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or multiple complex needs.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office 365 and Teams/Skype.
• Proven experience in a target-driven environment and meeting contractual/quality standards.
• Awareness of SEQF standards and relevant employability sector
• Relevant qualification: Level 3 Award in Employability Services or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the employability and recruitment sectors.
• Experience delivering information, advice & guidance to clients.
• Hold a valid full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers with a learning disability to help them gain employment.
• Provide specialist support and awareness aligned to learning disabilities.
• Conduct in-depth assessments to understand barriers and preferences.
• Co-produce personalised action plans with SMART targets.
• Collaborate with local services to address issues (substance misuse, debt, health).
• Utilise social prescribing to improve client circumstances.
• Engage with multiple agencies to coordinate holistic support.
• Directly market to employers via digital channels and pre-screen candidates.
• Develop in-work support plans with employers for smooth transitions.
• Promote health and safety and signpost local services as needed.
