Job summary
Safran Seats seeks a Configuration Manager to lead the CMS for UK operations, ensuring governance, traceability and compliance across product configurations throughout their lifecycle. You will own the change control process and drive standardisation in collaboration with Windchill PLM deployment and related teams.
The role requires aerospace configuration management expertise, CMII Level 6 certification, and PLM tool proficiency, with responsibilities spanning across engineering and programme
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering, or HNC/HND with significant design experience.
- CMII Level 6 Certified with strong configuration management knowledge.
- Proficient in CATIA V5, SmarTeam or other PLM systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the CMS ensuring governance, traceability, and compliance across configurations.
- Own and optimise the engineering change control process with effective CCBs.
- Drive standardisation of configuration and change practices aligned with group processes.
- Provide CMS reports and data to support lifecycle requirements.
