The Opportunity

Are you a curious, strategic thinker with a passion for global business and current affairs? We're looking for a Conference Producer to join our team in London!

As a Conference Producer, you’ll research emerging trends, shape world-class conference agendas, recruit high-level speakers, and help bring together thought leaders from around the world. You’ll play a key role in driving content and impact of our events, while developing valuable experience in market research, content creation, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

Market Research & Agenda Development

  • Conduct phone-based and online research to understand key trends and challenges in a specific industry or region.
  • Build and manage Steering Committees of senior industry professionals.
  • Identify and define your target audience—discover what they care about and what insights they need.
  • Create conference briefing documents and collaborate with internal teams to align on vision and goals.
  • Write compelling promotional copy and conference programs in the language of your target audience.
  • Develop thoughtful, high-quality agendas tailored to C-level executives.
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure web copy, email campaigns, and LinkedIn posts drive strong audience engagement.
  • Research and reach out to industry thought leaders to invite them to speak at your events.
  • Use tools like LinkedIn, email, and phone calls (including cold calling) to engage potential speakers and build partnerships.
  • Secure high-level speakers who will elevate the quality and credibility of your conference.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure the successful execution of each event.
  • Own your project timelines and deliverables—ensuring every event is delivered on time, on brand, and on budget.
  • Attend and oversee your events to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
  • Introduce your conference, support speaker logistics, and strengthen relationships with delegates and partners.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong research, writing, and editorial skills with a passion for current affairs and emerging trends.
  • Great communication and relationship-building skills—comfortable speaking to senior professionals.
  • Previous experience in conference production, events, research, or related fields is beneficial but not required—we provide extensive training and support for motivated individuals eager to learn.
  • Ability to balance independent work (research, content writing) with collaborative project teamwork.
  • Adaptability across different topics and industries.
  • Confidence in outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn), including cold calling.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude with a hunger to learn.
  • A degree (ideally 2:1 or above) is preferred but not required if you bring strong relevant experience.
