Qualifications

• Experience in conference & banqueting and food service is beneficial.
• Warm and genuine nature, someone who can make people feel at ease.
• Able to confidently, clearly and politely pass information to all guests.
• Promote a positive attitude and show the ability to 'make things happen' to achieve results.
• Highly customer-service oriented.
• Fully flexible in shift patterns through weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a welcoming, professional image to guests and assist as needed, building great relationships.
• Carry out preparation tasks in Conference and Banqueting, including room setup and stock prep.
• Complete close-down and cleaning procedures.
• Follow service steps to keep the guest at the center of the experience.
• Know the menu and be able to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Communicate orders accurately with bar and kitchen teams, mindful of dietary requirements.
