Job summary

Nestlé in York offers a four-year confectionery apprenticeship that combines hands-on development of new products and recipes with support for factory trials and site rotations across iconic brands like KitKat and Aero.

You will learn through experienced mentors, gain exposure to HACCP, quality assurance, data analysis, and supplier collaboration, and study at Nottingham Trent University, preparing you for a rewarding career in confectionery.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Meets apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria and residency requirements.
• Maths and English GCSEs (9–4) or equivalent.
• 104 UCAS points or 260 points under newer system.
• Must be 18 by 01 September 2027.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products and recipes and support factory trials.
• Rotate across confectionery sites including KitKat, Quality Street and Aero.
• Work with a mentor to maximise learning and prepare for a career in confectionery.
• Contribute to HACCP compliance and product quality throughout the scheme.
