Job summary

Nestlé’s Product Technology Centre (NPTC) Confectionery offers a 12 month Science & Technology Placement. You will gain firsthand experience in the global confectionery innovation hub, formulating and processing chocolate and other confections while planning and executing your own projects.

You will present results to stakeholders and participate in initiatives on sustainability, wellbeing, and diversity, building a strong professional network across Nestlé sites.

Qualifications

• You will need to have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• PhD completed or submitted, ideally in food science or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute your own projects, design experiments and analyse sample properties.
• Present findings to stakeholders.
• Engage in sustainability, wellbeing and diversity initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues across sites and functions.
