Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a hands-on Concrete Plant Supervisor to lead the daily operation of the concrete plant in Scarborough. You will batch concrete and mortar, manage stock, and ensure safety and efficiency while supporting customers and maintaining site standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above or equivalent.
• Experience in concrete, aggregates, manufacturing or industrial environments beneficial.
• Experience operating batching equipment or Front End Loader advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate the batching plant and produce concrete to required quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Order Office, colleagues and customers to meet production requirements.

This is a varied role where you’ll be involved in everything from batching concrete and managing stock to maintaining the plant, supporting customers and making sure the site operates safely and efficiently.You’ll work closely with colleagues, customers and the Order Office to make sure we deliver the right products, at the right quality, while maintaining excellent standards across the plant, yard and facilities. **What You’ll Be Doing**As Plant Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping the site running smoothly.
