Tillicoultry Quarries is seeking a Class 2 mixer driver near Alloa, delivering asphalt, concrete and recycled products to customer sites while maintaining high health and safety standards.

You will operate a modern fleet, uphold vehicle cleanliness, and adhere to Driver Hours Regulations. The role offers overtime, weekly bonuses, 30 days holiday, pension, funded CPC licensing, and clear progression within a long-established family-run company serving 35+ sites.

Formación

• Valid HGV license with CPC card.
• Mixer and tipper experience preferred.
• Experience with digital tachographs.
• Knowledge of Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations.
• Commitment to Health, Safety and Environment.
• Flexible hours with willingness to overtime including weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and collect products to customer sites while upholding health and safety standards.
• Keep company vehicle clean and presentable.
• Comply with Working Time Directive and EU driving rules; avoid infringements.
• Maintain up-to-date HGV licence and CPC cards.
• Deliver asphalt, concrete and recycled products as required.
• Manage internal stock deliveries and transfers.
• Ensure vehicle is roadworthy; report defects.
• Manage drivers hours on tachograph and observe breaks.

• £15.56 per hour (40hrs basic)
• Overtime paid up to £31.12 per hour

The Role

• Carry out the delivery and collection of products to customer sites while maintaining company high standards of Health and Safety at all times
• Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness to represent the company at all times
• Comply with the WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved with no infringements
• Ensure HGV licence and CPC cards are up to date and valid
• Asphalt delivery
• Concrete delivery
• Recycled products
• Internal stock delivery/transfer
• Ensure vehicle is clean, safe and legally roadworthy
• Defect reporting
• Manage drivers hours on tachograph
• Legally compliant breaks

What You will Need

• Valid HGV license with CPC card
• Experience driving mixers and tippers would be beneficial
• Experience working with digital tachographs
• Strong awareness of Driver Regulations specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations
• A keen interest and commitment to Health and Safety, and Environmental matters
• A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required including alternate weekends
