Job summary

Tillicoultry Quarries Ltd. in Shotts is seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 Mixer Driver for local deliveries and collections of concrete products. You will upholdHealth and Safety standards and keep the vehicle clean while meeting regulatory requirements.

The role requires a valid HGV licence with CPC, mixer/tipper experience is a plus, and willingness to work overtime including alternate weekends. A supportive, long-standing family business offers career progression and a funded CPC path.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect products to customer sites while maintaining health and safety standards.
• Keep company vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
• Comply with WTD and EU driving rules; ensure no infringements.
• Ensure HGV licence and CPC cards are up to date.
• Perform asphalt, concrete, and recycled product deliveries as required.
• Manage driver hours on tachograph and ensure legally compliant breaks.

What You will Get as a Concrete Mixer HGV Driver

• £15.56 per hour (40hrs basic)
• Overtime paid up to £31.12 per hour
• Typical weekly earnings £850+

The Role

• Carry out the delivery and collection of products to customer sites while maintaining company high standards of Health and Safety at all times
• Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness to represent the company at all times
• Comply with the WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved with no infringements
• Ensure HGV licence and CPC cards are up to date and valid

What You will Need
