Job summary

Tillicoultry Quarries Ltd. is seeking a HGV Class 2 Mixer Driver for local work with home every night. Base pay is £15.56 per hour for 40 hours, with overtime up to £31.12 per hour and typical weekly earnings around £850+.

The role includes mixer/tipper experience, CPC licensing, and a commitment to health and safety. You will deliver concrete, asphalt, and recycled products to customer sites, maintain vehicles, and ensure compliance with driver hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence with CPC card.
• Experience driving mixers and tippers would be beneficial.
• Experience working with digital tachographs.
• Strong awareness of Driver Regulations specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations.
• A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the delivery and collection of products to customer sites while maintaining company high standards of Health and Safety at all times.
• Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness to represent the company at all times.
• Comply with the WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved with no infringements.
• Ensure HGV licence and CPC cards are up to date and valid.
• Asphalt delivery, Concrete delivery, Recycled products, Internal stock delivery/transfer.
• Ensure vehicle is clean, safe and legally roadworthy.
• Defect reporting.
• Manage drivers hours on tachograph.
• Legally compliant breaks.
