Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is offering a Higher Apprenticeship in St Ives, with a starting salary of £25,084. You will earn while you learn and gain a Level 5 in Mineral Product Technician, progressing toward an Area Technical Supervisor role.

From day one you’ll work in our Technical department on real projects, with expert mentorship and part‑time university study linked directly to your role, enabling a clear development path in the construction industry.

Qualifications

• 80+ UCAS points required.
• 5 GCSEs (Maths, English and Science) at grade 4/C or above.
• Self-starter, team player, strong communication, flexible and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Health & Safety procedures support.
• Environmental management and permit compliance assistance.
• Quality assurance with the technical team.
