Heidelberg Materials UK (formerly Hanson UK) is launching a Higher Apprentice program in St Ives. You will gain structured hands-on experience in the concrete business, supported by mentorship and part-time university study that links directly to the role.

The programme leads toward becoming an Area Technical Supervisor, with rigorous training in health and safety, environmental management, quality, and operations, starting September 2027. You will be employed from day one.

Qualifications

• 80+ UCAS points and 5 GCSEs (Maths, English & Science) at grade 4/C or above.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Site Manager to gain hands-on experience across key operational areas.
