Job summary

Ground Control Limited in London is seeking a Ground Worker – Concrete Corer to join our geotechnical and infrastructure projects.

You’ll carry out concrete coring, set up equipment, sample cores, and work with MER Operatives. Full training provided; CSCS card and driving licence required; 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri; opportunities for progression to MER Operative or Site Supervisor; benefits available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in concrete coring.
• Ability to core to different diameters and depths.
• CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
• Physically able to carry out manual work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out concrete coring activities: set up equipment, prepare work areas and handle core samples.
• Core to different diameters and depths per project requirements.
• Support MER Operatives with mobilisation, excavation, reinstatement and site activities.
• Prepare work areas, clear sites, and maintain safe access.
• Operate concrete core drilling equipment per training and site requirements.
• Backfill, compact and reinstate excavated areas as needed.
• Follow RAMS, health and safety procedures and environmental requirements.
