Job summary

Savills is seeking a Security/Front of House Officer for its busy main reception at One St Peter’s Square, Manchester. You will deliver visible security, greet occupiers and visitors, manage access, and handle enquiries in person, by phone and email.

You will work as part of a small team with a CCTV focus, reporting facilities issues and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment around the clock.

Qualifications

• Experience in security/concierge in busy public environments.
• Must hold valid SIA Security Licence and a Public Space Surveillance/CCTV Licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft apps and visitor management systems.
• Ability to work on own initiative and handle demanding situations.
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to undertake onsite emergency procedures training.

Responsibilities

• Work shifts 7am–7pm, 4 on 4 off.
• Welcome guests, monitor CCTV, and patrol the building.
• Manage visitor check-in and issue passes.
• Answer enquiries by phone, email, or face-to-face.
• Coordinate with facilities, contractors, and emergency services.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.
• Maintain accurate records and incident reports.
• Enforce building rules and contractor management.
