Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking an experienced Concierge to join our new Leicester service during this exciting growth phase. You will provide a security-minded presence across accommodation sites, safeguard residents, and support wellbeing through collaborative practice.

You will work 4x12 hour shifts (48 hours per week) and earn £33,500 per year. Benefits include Simply Health, Blue Light Card, a referral programme, and DBS checks as part of our commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experienced Concierge with a passion for supporting vulnerable people.
• Experience with homelessness and complex needs preferred.
• Willing to work 4x12 hour shifts across Leicester.

Responsibilities

• Provide presence across accommodation services to ensure resident safety and wellbeing.
• Monitor incidents, safeguarding concerns, and emergencies.
• Carry out health and safety checks, property visits, and welfare checks.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to concerns per procedures.
• Build positive relationships with residents using a trauma-informed approach.
• Support residents with practical issues and connect to support services.
• Maintain records using digital systems and coordinate across sites.
• Work independently across multiple sites while liaising with colleagues and external agencies.

Concierge

Salary - £33,500

Working Hours - 48 Hours P/Week (4x 12 Hour Shifts)

Highly experienced working with individuals facing homelessness and/or people struggling with mental-health, substance misuse, a history of offending and other complex needs

What you'll be doing:

• Providing a presence across our accommodation services to ensure resident safety and wellbeing.
• Monitoring and responding to incidents, anti-social behaviour, safeguarding concerns, and emergencies.
• Carrying out regular property visits, health and safety checks, accommodation inspections, and welfare checks.
• Monitoring CCTV systems and responding to concerns in line with service procedures.
• Building positive relationships with residents using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.
• Supporting residents with practical issues and encouraging positive engagement with support services.
• Maintaining accurate records, incident reports, support notes, and risk assessments using our digital systems.
• Working independently across multiple sites while liaising closely with colleagues and external agencies when required.
• Ensuring accommodation remains safe, secure, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
