Delaware North UK is seeking a casual Concessions Catering Manager at Stadium of Light, Sunderland. Lead frontline teams across multiple kiosks to deliver exceptional guest experiences and oversee opening/closing procedures and compliance.

The role requires experience managing large teams in hospitality or events, strong guest service and leadership skills, and the ability to work flexible matchday shifts, including evenings and weekends. No degree is required.

The opportunity

Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Concessions Catering Manager to join our collaborative team at Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. As a Concessions Catering Manager, you will be managing diverse teams from a range of kiosks to create exceptional guest experiences. Pay

The expected pay for this role is £15.41 – £17.26 / hour

What will you do?

• Manage, lead, and train dedicated and proud frontline teams, monitoring timeliness and quantities in food preparation, promoting quality goods and exceptional service excellence
• Deliver informative and engaging briefs to all team members within your service area before each event
• Perform opening and closing procedures for assigned area
• Provide prompt and appropriate handling of guest feedback
• Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

More about you

• No degree required
• Experience managing and leading large teams within hospitality or events
• Knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry, preferably within hospitality and catering environment
• Skills in guest service, communication, attention to detail, analysis, quick thinking, and leadership

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Comfortable handling various meat and alcohol products
• Availability to attend shifts for matchdays and event days, due to events-based nature of roles
