Job summary

Education Personnel are recruiting an IT/Computing Teacher for a Nottingham secondary school, to start immediately or in January 2027. The role covers KS3/KS4 and potentially KS5, with opportunities across day-to-day supply, long-term assignments, and permanent positions.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has at least 6 months of UK secondary IT/Computing teaching experience, and demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills to support student achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the KS3 & KS4 IT/Computing curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced in Nottingham
  • Plan, prepare, and assess Computer Science, coding, and ICT lessons in line with department policy
  • Monitor student progress and implement appropriate technical interventions
  • Contribute to IT/Computing department improvement planning
  • Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents' evenings as required

Location: Nottingham

Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Start Date: Immediate / January 2027

Pay Rate: £130-£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Qualification: QTS required

Experience: Minimum 6 months' teaching experience in a UK secondary school

Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a dedicated IT/Computing Teacher for a position starting immediately or in January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled IT/Computing educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS3, KS4, and potentially Computer Science KS5. Key Responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate
