Global Banking School invites applications for Lecturers to teach across the BSc (Hons) Computing programme at Birmingham. Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
• Proven knowledge in two or more areas listed (e.g., Programming, Databases, Cloud, Networking, Cybersecurity, AI/ML).
• Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
• Experience in accurate reporting and maintaining thorough student records.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work to meet learning outcomes.
• Develop, update, and improve course materials.
• Use varied teaching methods and materials.
• Engage in staff development, peer observations, and admin duties.
• Stay up to date with developments in the field and student support practices.
• Work toward defined objectives for attendance, progression, and satisfaction.
