Job summary

The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons on algorithms, computational thinking, and coding with Python as the primary language, while introducing Java, HTML and CSS. You will foster inclusive learning and prepare students for GCSE assessments.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• A degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a closely related subject
• Strong understanding of the UK Computing curriculum, particularly at GCSE level
• Solid programming knowledge, especially in Python, with familiarity with other languages

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• A degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a closely related subject
• Strong understanding of the UK Computing curriculum, particularly at GCSE level
• Solid programming knowledge, especially in Python, alongside familiarity with other coding languages and tools
