Job summary

Elite 360 Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller/Turner to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in a modern precision environment. You will set, operate and program CNC milling machines, reading drawings to produce precision components and maintain quality to meet deadlines.

The role requires proficiency with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls, experience with tooling, offsets and machine set-ups, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Proficient with Heidenhain or Fanuc CNC controls.

Responsibilities

Elite 360 Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company for an experienced CNC Miller/Turner to join their growing machine shop.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Operator or CNC Programmer looking to work within a modern precision engineering environment, manufacturing high-quality components for a range of industries.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for setting, operating and, where required, programming CNC milling machines to manufacture precision-engineered components. Working from engineering drawings, you’ll ensure products are produced accurately, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines.


• Program CNC machines where required.


• Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.

• Strong understanding of machining techniques, tooling and tolerances.


• Ability to use precision measuring equipment to inspect finished components.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.


• A positive, reliable and proactive approach.


• CNC programming experience.


• Experience machining large or complex components.


• Manual machining experience.


• Previous experience within precision engineering, heavy engineering or general manufacturing.
