Job summary

A leading engineering business in Brixworth is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to contribute to dynamic Formula 1 projects. The position requires expertise in CNC milling and experience with Siemens controls, although the latter is not mandatory. You will operate a Trumpf CNC machine and be involved in welding batteries. The contract is expected to last until December 2026, with initial training potentially on weekends. This role offers an outstanding contract rate and various perks including an onsite subsidised restaurant and gym.

Job description

This amazing contract role for an experienced CNC Miller is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills with a world leading Formula 1 business in Northamptonshire.

The person that secures this position will be crucial to the success of this dynamic company on its F1 projects.

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Miller with Siemens controls experience. Any programming experience will be beneficial but not required.

This role will be using a Trumpf CNC Machine with a laser welding torch attachment. This role will involve welding batteries.

Experience with 3/5 axis CNC milling is essential.

This role will be working as a contractor, with the work running initially until at least December 2026, but may be extended.

Please note this position is based in Brixworth, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Initially there may be some training on the weekends.
