Job summary

adi Healy Compressor Services, part of the adi Group, is recruiting a Compressed Air Engineer to service and maintain oil‑flooded and oil‑free systems across the Midlands with nationwide coverage. You will perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, install and diagnose equipment, and uphold high safety and quality standards.

You will interact with customers, complete service reports promptly, and contribute to service growth while working both independently and as part of the service team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar compressed air engineering role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and travel.
• OEM training and electrical qualifications.
• Oil-free compressor experience would be beneficial.
• F-Gas certification would be beneficial.
• Experience with N₂/O₂ generation systems, dryers, or central control systems.
• Computer literate for paperless reporting.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing oil‑flooded and oil‑free compressed air systems.
• Conducting accurate mechanical and electrical fault‑finding and diagnostics
• Delivering exceptional customer service while developing and maintaining long‑term client relationships
• Ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and workmanship are consistently met.
• Completing all service reports and documentation accurately and within required timescales
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, upselling and service growth
• Working collaboratively with the wider service and management teams to deliver service excellence.
