Job summary

CPL Aromas in the United Kingdom is seeking a production operator to accurately weigh aroma chemicals, oils and powders per formulation while following SOPs and health & safety guidelines. The role starts on days and shifts to a night pattern by year end, working as part of a team to ensure high customer service levels.

The ideal candidate will have strong numeracy, good communication skills and the ability to work with attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• FLT licence held and up-to-date.
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Good IT skills; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Check tank labels against paperwork to ensure accuracy.
• Keep all equipment clean.
• Compound RM's according to the formulation.
• Use raw materials in FIFO order.
• Weigh and pack completed jobs.
• Complete handover/graveyard sheets if a job isn’t finished.
• Report errors or spills immediately.
• Follow health, safety & hygiene procedures.
• Perform other daily tasks as required.

Production Team Leader/Factory Manager

Job Purpose

The role will start on days (0830-1700) and then move to a nightshift (2200-0600) towards end of the year. The purpose of the role is to accurately weigh out synthetic & natural aroma chemicals, oils and powder chemicals to a given formulation in accordance with the company Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.Ps) and health & safety guidelines, work as part of a team, maintaining all aspects of Health, Safety and hygiene and communicating with other departments on any issues to ensure we maintain a high level of customer service.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Checking tank/s labels with paperwork making sure they are correct and matching each other
• Ensure all equipment is always kept clean
• Compound RM’s according to the formulation
• Ensuring use of raw materials in FIFO order
• Making sure completed jobs are combined and then check weighed before packing
• Complete handover/graveyard sheets accordingly if job cannot be completed
• Report any errors or spills immediately
• Ensuring all health, safety & hygiene procedures are followed
• Any other tasks required as part of daily work
