Interaction Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Laboratory Production Technician to join their busy manufacturing facility in Brixworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to work within a fast-paced laboratory environment.

In addition, this role involves accurately weighing and compounding aroma chemicals, oils and powders, following detailed formulations, and supporting sample production and broader manufacturing

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong numeracy skills.
• Ability to work accurately with formulations and raw materials.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Experience with ERP or Dynamics AX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and compound raw materials according to specified formulations.
• Check and verify pots and paperwork to ensure full accuracy and traceability.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment, equipment kept to standard.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) processes for raw materials.
• Combine and check completed batches before packing.
• Complete all relevant documentation and system entries (BMS) accurately.
• Report any discrepancies, errors, or spills promptly.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support operational efficiency.

Laboratory Production Technician

Brixworth, UK Manufacturing Site | Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm | Salary: £26,300 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Laboratory Production Technician to join their busy manufacturing facility in Brixworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to work within a fast-paced laboratory environment.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and compounding a variety of synthetic and natural aroma chemicals, oils, and powders in line with detailed formulations. You will play a key part in supporting both sample production for perfumers and wider manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and compound raw materials according to specified formulations
• Check and verify pots and paperwork to ensure full accuracy and traceability
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment, ensuring equipment is kept to standard
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) processes for raw materials
• Combine and check completed batches before packing
• Complete all relevant documentation and system entries (BMS) accurately
