Job summary

  • FLT licence desirable but not essential.
  • Flexible and adaptable to shift work.

Responsibilities

  • Verify tank and container labels against production paperwork for accuracy.
  • Precisely weigh and mix raw materials according to formulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of equipment and work areas.
  • Apply FIFO procedures when handling raw materials.
  • Assist in combining completed batches and checking weights before packing.
  • Complete handover documentation for unfinished tasks.
  • Immediately report any errors, spills, defects, or safety concerns.
  • Uphold high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate with other departments.
  • Support stock handling, material movement, and general production duties as needed.
  • Contribute to meeting production targets and quality standards.
  • Perform any other duties necessary for daily operations.

Production Operative

Job Purpose

The role begins with day shifts (08:30–17:00), Monday to Friday, transitioning to night shifts (22:00–06:00) after a few months.

The Production Operative is responsible for accurately weighing and preparing synthetic and natural aroma chemicals, oils, and powders according to specified formulations. This must be done in line with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health & Safety guidelines. Working as part of a team, the operative will ensure products meet quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Verify tank and container labels against production paperwork for accuracy.
