Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Composite Team Leader / Supervisor in Nuneaton for a well-established specialist composites manufacturer. You will lead the laminating department on days and double-days, work from drawings and route cards, maintain equipment and drive improvements to quality and efficiency with hands-on pre-preg carbon/glass layup, vacuum bagging and autoclave preparation.

Qualifications

• Strong pre-preg laminating experience with autoclave processes (carbon or glass).
• Live commutable to Nuneaton.
• Experience leading a laminating / production team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on pre-preg laminating (carbon/glass), vacuum bagging and autoclave prep.
• Post-cure breakout and defect identification; drive corrective actions.
• Check drawings and route cards; ensure procedures are followed.
• Support process improvements to raise quality and efficiency.

Nuneaton, Warwickshire (Commutable from: Coventry, Bedworth, Hinckley, Tamworth, Atherstone, Leicester, Rugby, Birmingham)

Are you a Composite Team Leader, Senior Laminator or ready to step up, looking for a role where your standards, technical knowledge and attention to detail will be recognised in the production of high-quality carbon components?

On offer is a secure permanent position within a well-established specialist composites manufacturer, supplying technically demanding sectors including automotive, aerospace, defence and marine.

In this role you will take technical ownership on the shop floor, supporting the day-to-day running of the laminating department to ensure work is delivered to timescales and completed to the highest standards. You'll work from drawings and route cards, maintain equipment, and drive a clean, controlled environment.

You will be hands‑on with pre‑preg carbon/glass layup, vacuum bagging and autoclave preparation, plus post‑cure breakout and defect identification. You'll also help develop and improve processes to increase quality and efficiency, reporting any mould/pattern issues and working closely with the wider team.

This role would suit a Composite Team Leader / Supervisor or Laminator stepping up looking for a long-term, technically focused position with real responsibility and pride in the end product.

The Role:
