Job summary

Pegbox is recruiting skilled Pre-Preg Composite Laminators for a world-renowned project with Global Technologies Racing. Role based near Fontwell, West Sussex, starting September 2026 with a minimum 6-month contract.

Shifts include Days, Nights and Weekend options, with varying rates based on experience. You must have right to work in the UK and bring your own tools and safety shoes to site.

Qualifications

• Skilled composite laminator with motorsport experience.
• Experience with pre-preg carbon fibre and hand layup.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture chassis and structural components using pre-preg carbon fibre.
• Work from engineering drawings quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.
• Ensure quality and traceability of parts for high-performance applications.

NEW IMPROVED PAY RATES
Pegbox is recruiting several skilled Pre-Preg Composite Laminators (Motorsport and Hypercar Specialists) to start September 2026
If you are successful in your application, you will be contracted to support the projects of a world-renowned composite manufacturer, Global Technologies Racing (GTR)
Working at pace from engineering drawings, using pre-preg carbon fibre, you will be manufacturing a range of complex structural and non-structural parts on one of the most recognisable supercars and F1 teams.
You will be based in Fontwell, West Sussex.
The contracts will start from September for a minimum 6 months
Rates and Shifts:

Rates are increasing and will vary depending on experience and shifts.

Shifts patterns:

• Days (Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work)
• Nights (Monday evening to Friday Morning)
• Weekend Days (Friday to Monday)

All shifts may require extra hours / days work to deliver against the project deadlines you undertake.

If you wish to apply for this project:

• You are either a skilled composite laminator
• You will have honed your skills in motorsport
• Your expertise will ideally include manufacturing chassis and structural components, floors, brake ducts, etc.
• You will demonstrate a strong understanding of composite materials and pre-preg processes
• You will be able to work independently from engineering drawings

IR35 Status and other important information:

• Your contract will be considered as outside IR35 if you meet certain conditions. (Contact us for more information)
• You will provide your own tools and safety shoes when delivering your services to our client
• You must have the right to work in the UK
