Job summary

Travail-Employment-Group is recruiting a Composite Laminator in Wellingborough to join a luxury automotive and Formula One supplier. You will laminate carbon fibre parts, follow engineering drawings, and maintain quality standards in a hands-on, precision-focused production environment.

Applicants should have experience in automotive or motorsport composite laminating, be able to read drawings, and be familiar with IATF 16949:2016, pre-preg and autoclave processes.

Qualifications

• Experience of composite laminating within Automotive or Motorsport sectors.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949:2016 quality standards and autoclave/pre-preg laminating processes.

Responsibilities

• Laminating carbon fibre parts (bumpers, bonnets, doors, quarter panels, windshield surrounds).
• Following technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with job card instructions.
• Contributing to process improvement and efficiency.
• Collaborating with internal teams.
• Maintaining equipment and workstations.

Salary: GBP31200 - GBP35360 per annum + DOE + Overtime

Location: Wellingborough

Schedule: Permanent | Monday to Friday 0800 - 1630

The Opportunity

Our client who are a leading manufacturing company working with luxury automotive and Formula One clients are expanding their Laminating Team with several positions available. As part of the Laminating Team, you'll be involved in crafting high-precision carbon fibre components. This is a hands-on, high-standard role in a cutting-edge production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Laminating carbon fibre parts (bumpers, bonnets, doors, quarter panels, windshield surrounds)

• Contributing to process improvement and efficiency

About You

You should have:

• Experience of composite laminating within Automotive or Motorsport sectors

• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication, time management, and organisation skills
