Job description

Red Bull Racing & Technology have an exciting opportunity for a Composite Event Support Technician to join our well-established Composites team. Based in the heart of our innovative and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, this role offers a great opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in a high-performing F1 team. This department supports both Race and Factory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with other Composite Event Support Technicians, Lead Technicians, Team Leaders, and supply chain leaders to understand priorities and deadlines.
  2. Understand production plans to ensure delivery dates are met and communicate any deviations.
  3. Ensure the quality of parts produced by following appropriate processes, identifying deviations from specifications, and correcting them when possible.
  4. Maintain effective communication channels with all shifts and departments to facilitate smooth work transfer.
  5. Prioritise daily workloads to maximize utilisation and productivity.
  6. Support Race, Test, and Heritage events as required.
  7. Provide feedback for manufacturing improvements, cost reductions, or lead-time reductions.
  8. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
  9. Follow company policies and procedures, seeking advice when necessary.
  10. Possess extensive knowledge of Composite Assembly Manufacturing processes.
  11. Communicate confidently in verbal and written forms, with the ability to follow objectives, goals, strategies, and measures.
  12. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and process sheets effectively.
  13. Work well under pressure within a team environment and be self-motivated to meet tight deadlines.
  14. Work flexibly, including additional shifts when required.
  15. Support apprentice and junior training programs.
  16. Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
