Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
  • Manage statutory inspection data in SAP and British Engineering Services systems.
  • Drive completion of actions under the Management of Change (MoC) system.
  • Maintain Compliance KPIs and Visual Management tools.
  • Coordinate maintenance systems via SAP, EQMS, Enablon and SharePoint.
  • Maintain Compliance KPIs and Visual Management tools.
  • Prepare for HSE, SEPA, GAR, and CARM audits.
  • Promote safety culture and serve as a Safety Ambassador.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and engineering standards.
  • Participate actively in the Manufacturing Excellence agenda.

Overview

Due to continued success, our client, a global FMCG leader, has instructed Sonatec to locate a Compliance Specialist to join its Asset Care team. This is a highly visible and collaborative position responsible for driving engineering compliance across maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality regulations, and internal governance standards.

Working closely with Site Management, Maintenance, and Risk & Governance teams, you will lead the compliance agenda across all engineering documentation, inspections, systems, and process safety.

This is a hybrid consultative and authoritative role, where your ability to influence and lead without direct control will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) documentation and audit readiness
  • Drive completion of actions under the Management of Change (MoC) system
  • Coordinate maintenance systems via SAP, EQMS, Enablon and SharePoint
  • Maintain Compliance KPIs and Visual Management tools
  • Prepare for HSE, SEPA, GAR, and CARM audits
  • Promote safety culture and serve as a Safety Ambassador

Essential Skills & Qualifications
