The role involves coordinating with board and regulatory authorities, overseeing outsourced relationships, onboarding clients, and maintaining records.

A strong background in the Guernsey regulatory environment and excellent MS Word/Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compliance experience in risk areas.
• Strong understanding of Guernsey’s legal and regulatory environment as it relates to funds and licensees.
• Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities with capacity to explain complex issues succinctly.

Responsibilities

• Submit local and international legal and regulatory submissions.
• Prepare Business Risk Assessments.
• Develop policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor risks and mitigations.
• Oversee outsourced relationships.
• Onboard and periodically review clients.
• Assist with monthly compliance monitoring programmes.
• Support launch of new clients.
• Keep client records updated.
• Liaise with board and committee members, internal and external regulators.
• Engage with clients.
• Communicate regulatory obligations to staff.
