Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Fully qualified accountant with a recognised UK professional designation.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, with post-qualification experience in financial control or related role.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience delivering month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience coordinating statutory financial statements and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee preparation of statutory financial statements and disclosures.
• Lead external audit coordination and timely delivery of audit requests.
• Maintain balance sheet governance with reconciliations and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and firm policies.
• Support regulatory reporting obligations with accurate submissions.
• Maintain financial control framework and governance across operations.
• Deliver insightful management reporting to Finance leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Analyze financial performance and balance sheet movements for business insights.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners to align management and statutory reporting.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and escalate appropriately.
• Provide control oversight across outsourced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
