Job summary

Strategic Risk Solutions in Guernsey seeks a seasoned Compliance Officer to lead the delivery of regulatory compliance services for the firm and its clients. You will maintain the risk management framework and ensure the control environment meets the highest standards.

Key duties include acting as MLCO/MLRO for specified entities, coordinating GFSC communications, and reporting to the Board on regulatory matters while staying ahead of changes in laws and industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GFSC requirements and how to apply them in practice.
• Ability to design, monitor and improve compliance programs and audits.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience coordinating committees and cross-functional compliance initiatives.
• Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Act as Compliance Officer, MLCO, and MLRO for SRS in Guernsey.
• Member of the Risk & Compliance Committee.
• Design and monitor the annual Compliance Monitoring Program and report quarterly.
• Oversee periodic checks and audits and report to the Board on GFSC compliance.
• Coordinate GFSC communications and requirements with regulators.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and provide guidance to the firm and Board.
• Coordinate Risk & Compliance Committee meetings and ongoing learning.
