Job Description:

Optiver is seeking a Compliance Officer to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with traders to advise trading decisions across FX and Commodity sectors.

What you’ll do:

You will develop expertise in our trading operations, serving as the compliance subject matter expert for Optiver’s FICC business. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing regulatory and trading floor advice to commodities, fixed income, and FX traders;
  • Drafting policies and compliance guidance;
  • Designing and delivering training to trading desks;
  • Supporting onboarding of new counterparties;
  • Evaluating business initiatives and strategic projects for compliance and risk;
  • Monitoring regulatory changes affecting the business;
  • Assisting surveillance and internal investigations;
  • Maintaining relationships across global compliance teams;
  • Preparing regulatory reports and responses to inquiries;
  • Supporting compliance reporting and documentation accuracy.

Who you are:

  • At least 2 years of compliance experience in derivatives trading;
  • Proactive team player with results-oriented mindset;
  • Experience with US-listed derivatives (CME, ICE, OCC) is advantageous;
  • Understanding of multiple jurisdictions within a global firm;
  • Experience in trading advisory roles;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to learn quickly and make structured decisions;
  • Strong work ethic and team contribution skills.
