Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Compliance Manager for an international commercial bank.

This role primarily focuses on the Compliance Monitoring framework, but will also involve other generalist compliance activities. You will support the Head of Compliance (SMF16) by proactively and promptly delivering compliance activities across the bank.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement the bank’s Compliance Monitoring framework, processes, and procedures in line with industry and regulatory standards and the bank’s risk appetite.
2. Review and update compliance monitoring procedures to promote continuous improvement.
3. Lead compliance monitoring reviews as outlined in the monitoring plan.
4. Support in evaluating the effectiveness of Compliance RCSAs and collaborate with Operational Risk to ensure alignment.
5. Enhance regulatory compliance knowledge and share best practices across risk teams and the wider bank.
6. Provide timely regulatory advice and guidance to support the business.
7. Review and update compliance policies, standards, and procedures.
8. Gather compliance Management Information (MI) related to monitoring and regulation, analyze trends, and present insights to governance forums.

Skills and Experience:

• Deep regulatory knowledge of FCA regulation, including FCA Consumer Duty.
• Experience in planning and executing Compliance Monitoring activities.
• Proven experience in a compliance or audit role within banking or financial services.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills to effectively manage issues.
