Edenbrook is collaborating with a top-performing specialty insurer on a Compliance Manager position. You will work with Local Compliance Officers, Compliance Managers, business units, and functions to scope, manage, and implement projects requiring significant compliance input.

Key responsibilities:

New Projects:

• Collaborate with the Compliance Management Team to scope and create new projects aligned with the strategic and tactical objectives of the EMEA Compliance function.

Project Planning:

• Work with the relevant project owner to develop and maintain project documentation such as terms of reference, milestone plans, dependencies, etc.

Project Delivery:

• Coordinate, manage, and implement compliance projects.
• Manage resources to ensure timely delivery of programs.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate effectively and develop strong relationships within the Legal and Compliance Team, the business, and external third parties involved in compliance projects.

Stakeholder Management:

• Create communication documents and regular reports detailing implementation progress for key stakeholders and senior management.
• Report on progress as needed.
• Establish appropriate governance around the projects under management.

Additional Support:

• Provide support and perform work as directed by the Deputy Regional Compliance Officer – EMEA.

The ideal candidate:

• Possesses strong knowledge of the insurance industry (preferably retail) and experience overseeing Appointed Representatives, third parties, or DUA arrangements.
