Bolton Council is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee contract compliance and performance in their Corporate Property team. Salary: Grade K, £48,710 scp39 to £52,805 scp43 per annum - pay award pending.
This is a permanent position.
Qualifications & Experience: You should have a Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management or a related property field, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, or equivalent demonstrable career experience.

Bolton Council is expanding its Corporate Property team, which plays a vital role in the borough’s regeneration and manages a portfolio of capital projects valued at over £50m. The Compliance Manager reports to the Head of Corporate Property Operations and works closely with FM officers and asset management officers to ensure contract compliance and performance standards are met.
Your responsibilities include preparing and presenting monthly performance reports, data extraction and trend analysis, especially related to costs and compliance. You will also develop lifecycle cost models, challenge the supply chain on health and safety, quality, and value for money issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in contract compliance, cost management, and asset performance. The position is based at Bolton’s Town Hall, with some remote work possible for flexibility.

Strong leadership, excellent report writing, data analysis skills, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including senior management and council members, are essential.
