The Role of Compliance Manager reports to the Head of Corporate Property Operations. You will be joining a high-performing group, working closely with a team of FM officers and asset management officers to help ensure contract compliance and performance issues are met.
You will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of monthly performance reports, extracting data and monitoring trends, particular around costs relating to compliance, ensuring information is shared across the team and with senior management and helping to develop life cycle cost models, using trend analysis to identify when assets need renewing. You will have an eye for detail and will challenge the supply chain and contractors to address health and safety, quality, suitability or value for money issues that may arise and to escalate when necessary.
This is a real opportunity for someone to join the team who is experienced in contract compliance, cost management and asset performance. You will be based in Bolton's prestigious Town Hall, although some remote work will be possible to help with flexibility.

You will need strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of compliance professionals with tenacity and team spirit to deliver performance-based targets with a focus on excellent customer service.
You'll have a high standard of report writing and the ability to extract and present data from a wide range of sources, as well as a strong understanding of performance monitoring and reporting across multiple projects and programmes within a local authority/public based environment will be key for this role.
You'll need to be methodical, logical, and comprehensive in your approach to work, with excellent communication and influencing skills. You should be confident in working with a wide range of stakeholders including senior management and Council Members.
