Job summary

TQR Consultancy Ltd is seeking a proactive Compliance Executive / Seller Compliance & Marketplace Operations Assistant for its rapidly expanding e-commerce marketplace team in Plymouth, Devon. You will monitor sellers, identify compliance risks and support operational processes across reporting and documentation.

The role offers exposure to data analysis, marketplace performance and cross-team collaboration, with multiple roles available as the business grows.

Responsibilities

• Conducting new seller due diligence and compliance checks.
• Monitoring seller accounts and identifying potential risk indicators.
• Escalating compliance and operational concerns to the appropriate teams.
• Maintaining accurate seller records, trackers and operational documentation.
• Producing regular reports covering seller performance, orders and compliance metrics.
• Monitoring late orders, cancellations and customer service issues.
• Investigating operational issues and escalating them to relevant internal teams; supporting product and catalogue audits.
• Monitoring seller stock availability and delivery performance.
• Managing and updating internal reporting spreadsheets and dashboards.
• Supporting marketplace ticket management through Zendesk and other systems.
• Assisting with onboarding and setup of new sellers.
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve seller queries and operational issues; identifying trends and risks.
• Supporting the wider Marketplace team with reporting, analysis and operational administration.

Multiple roles available | Rapidly expanding e-commerce marketplace We are looking for proactive, organised and detail-oriented Compliance Executive to join a rapidly expanding e-commerce marketplace team. This role provides broad exposure to seller management, compliance, reporting, marketplace performance and operational processes. You will play an important part in helping sellers meet marketplace requirements, identifying potential risks and ensuring the marketplace operates effectively. You will work closely with the Seller Compliance & Analyst Lead and wider internal teams, gaining valuable experience across compliance, data, operations and seller management.

Role Overview

As a Seller Compliance & Marketplace Operations Assistant, you will support the day-to-day monitoring and management of marketplace sellers, helping to identify compliance risks, resolve operational issues and maintain accurate records, reporting and documentation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, analytical and commercially aware, with a strong eye for detail and an interest in how e-commerce marketplaces operate.

As the marketplace continues to grow, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience across a broad range of marketplace functions and take on increased responsibility as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities
