Gradus Ltd, part of the Gerflor Group, is seeking a Compliance Engineer for a permanent full-time role in Macclesfield. You will ensure the compliance of raw materials, components and finished products through testing programmes and regulatory analysis.

You will advise internal teams, support customer-facing functions and help maintain product quality and performance. The role requires a practical, detail‑driven mindset and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑moving manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing and regulatory awareness.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and data interpretation.
• Analytical mindset with numerical skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage and interpret routine testing programmes for materials and products.
• Ensure testing methods align with legislation and customer requirements.
• Provide technical advice and compliance guidance to support teams and customers.
• Research and develop testing methods to meet evolving specs.
• Monitor regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Act as a technical expert to improve manufacturing processes.
