Job summary

Gradus Limited, part of the Gerflor Group, is seeking a Compliance Engineer in Warrington to ensure compliance of raw materials, components and finished products through testing programmes and regulatory analysis. The role collaborates with Technical Support, Marketing and Sales to deliver accurate guidance to customers and end users.

The position emphasizes performance testing, regulatory monitoring and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret data and deliver practical solutions.
• Excellent communication across teams and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and interpret routine testing programmes for raw materials and finished products, working closely with accredited third-party laboratories.
• Ensure testing methodologies and standards remain aligned with current legislation, industry best practice and customer requirements.
• Provide technical advice, written reports and compliance guidance to customer support teams and external customers.
• Research, develop and enhance testing methods to meet evolving product, market and customer specifications, including international requirements.
• Monitor and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory developments to ensure ongoing product compliance.
• Act as a technical expert, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting effective problem-solving across manufacturing processes.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and operating methods, contributing to process optimisation and new equipment selection.
• Support new product development and introduction by defining, validating and implementing process capabilities required for successful manufacture.
